Alexis as Lucy Stone for her 5th grade Wax Museum. She was a suffragist and the first person in Massachusetts to earn a college degree. Studying her with Alexis really made me thankful for brave women who were trailblazers for us today. Without people like her women would still not be allowed to vote, receive little education, and have opinions that would be best kept to themselves. Grateful.
