A glimpse of our Life: Not the greatest quality photo, but FB popped this up from seven years ago. 😱. That race in Fargo, ND kicked my trash. It was one month after I ran Boston is 90+ degree heat. My friend, Dene, said let’s do this one and I was on board! I felt like I recovered well from Boston since I had to slow down due to the heat. Well, 20 mph headwind the last ten miles, major nausea at the end, missed my BQ by 4 minutes. It wasn’t the race I was hoping for, but I’m glad I have a memory from that day.
