The beginning of September we were able to take advantage of the Mayo Family Association and score four free tickets to Twietes Family Farm. I wanted to jump on it since one ticket is $11. We never stay long enough to make the trip worth what we would have to pay for our family.
It was a hot day! Almost 90 degrees when we went. Sweat was trickling down my back almost from the time we stepped out of the car. Wayne ran 20 miles that morning. He was, as always, amazing and supportive of what I wanted to do with our little family.
We went on a tractor ride, slid down tube slides, climbed tires and went through the Enchanted Forest. That was my favorite part because it was shady. :)
After an hour and a half the heat had done us in. We stopped by the little store and bought drinks and chocolate covered oreos and nutter butters. It was a great day.

| Wayne resting in the shade. For a minute we thought people were throwing rocks and soon realized that we were under a tree with acorns. They were dropping like crazy. |

| Alexis, Ha! That's a scary face, indeed. |
